Fund a Need
Orthodontia
One of the most common costs not covered by government funding is the need for braces and other related orthodontia. However, our philosophy is that helping the girls in our care to look and feel their best will help them grow into becoming a confident adolescent so they may thrive. The out-of-pocket cost can often be upwards of $3,500 or more.
Travel and Educational Experiences
Donations that support travel and educational experiences for girls in group homes open doors to growth, confidence, and inspiration. These opportunities allow the girls to explore new places, discover their passions, and gain life skills they may not otherwise access. Exposure to the world beyond their immediate environment helps build self-esteem, broadens their perspective, and empowers them to dream bigger for their future. Every donation makes a lasting impact by showing them they are valued, capable, and full of potential.
Independent Living
Many girls in our care are never permanently placed with a family and age out of the system with no family to turn to. At Scott's Social Services, we strive to stay connected to these girls and support them with getting started in their transition to adulthood. We often assist them with getting a mattress, deposits for apartments, furnishings, and other basic items to start their new, independent living journey. Your donation will help them get a fresh start.
